Taking the whip

When one was created, and for that purpose he was tested,
He was gifted in certain ways, with such gifts the almighty invested.

The gift could be intellect..
could be power, could be beauty, could be charm,
It could be the ability to help, and the strength to stop harm

When the almighty showered these gift, pride was not included,
But such is the human condition, that as a by-product this protruded

It protruded deep into the hearts, and far into the minds,
Expanding like a virus, thus showing its disturbing signs.

When the almighty showered these gifts, the destruction of man was not on the agenda,
The tools were useful, but the outcome, not tender.

When an asset is misused, the almighty will eventually redeem.
the redemption not of the ordinary, not as simple to the high self esteem.

Use your gift very wisely, later you will see it essence,
Rather that, or do you wish to feel a bitter reminiscence?

I absolutely love this part:
When the almighty showered these gifts, the destruction of man was not on the agenda,
The tools were useful, but the outcome, not tender.
