Those Who Came After

There are those that are dear friends of ours,

In which the hope diminishes, and the doubt always towers.

The need for inspiration is a dire one for them,

They may feel they are poor, yet they are in receipt of a gem.

They work to establish the book of the almighty,

In everyday life, governance, in the presence of piety.

Glad tiding are for those that work for this cause,

as our dear prophet (saw) mentions them in due applause:

"They are not from us and they are not from you"

I begin to wonder where they are? and exactly who?

"They will come after you when the book struggles to survive..

and they will restore the Sunnah to the people, in struggle to revive"

"Oh companions of mine, they are of near infallible emaan,

they will be like forty in faith, compared to your one man"

"Surrounded by tyrant rulers, they will face much more distaste,

and they will have no leader like you do, no one to look to in haste.

Such are the words of our prophet, upon their arrival,

Heavens gate is all welcoming, and there is no rival.

Oh friends of mine, oh friends in which doubt is residing,

Rasul (saw) may have spoken about you and sent his glad tiding !!

Continue your work, and spread knowledge in your droves,

Removing the suffering of mankind, and awaiting the blessed groves.
