Pirates of the Mediterranean

Their lack of morals were already nothing to be surprised of !!
For over SIXTY years we've known what they're comprised of !!

After all that's been happening ,no outcry is seeming like a fish out of water,
Yet they can call us terrorists and can carry on with their barbaric slaughter !

With what has happened there is no politics involved, no war or strife,
Can't they at least be left alive when they're trying to save a life??

Away from the land and water, away from wrong and deceit,
What was the initial danger posed by the humanitarian fleet??

Setting a standard for worldly affairs, showing the Palestinians that someone cares,
Yet they've stood up and said: Go on ! save them......If you dare !

First the stolen house, then the garden and now the street !
The same old cry, now to those who help, at the helpless peak !

How cowardly, how audacious, and remarkably cold,
first butchering the innocent, and then repeating this mold.

The rest of you, ALL OF YOU, you know exactly where they have gone wrong,
doesn't matter if they fill your supermarkets, you have to stop the same old song.

From the diplomats, to the governance, to citizens of the international states,
We have to keep them off our agendas and away from our plates.

yes i totally agree terrorism has no face so why are people judged according to their appearances (i,e beards, headscarves, hijabs, topi- my name is khan) isnt it meant to be a result of their actions certainly not their appearances. Since look at the way the media has portrayed osama bin laden, the islamist terrorists and the extremists. As islam is not just a religion,” in relation to the journalist Mark Steyn. “There’s a global jihad lurking within this religion” what the flip just cause we live in britain dont mean were gonna change our beliefs and virtue for mark steyn.
Terrorism has not got a face, it’s got a mask; a mask which all terrorists hide behind. Religion is meaningless to them therefore they put it forward. Can we really judge a whole religion or even Islam generally because of the actions of a few believers? “Don’t play with God’s name for God’s sake God is mine also.” This portrays the effectiveness of equality, as we all have the same God, sky, moon and stars if you take away the differences. Likewise God is the same; he is not just yours or mine he is our God for all of humanity therefore we should all be treated equally. Zakir Naik a Muslim world leading speaker stated that “in every religion there are black sheep and the media keep putting these people forward. This is a media conspiracy and a way of pushing people away from Islam.” For instance, the religion of Islam should not be confused with what a minority of terrorists have done.By stating Muslims are the terrorists, this would also result in Christians also being named terrorists. As who would like to describe Hitler as a good Christian? Therefore this clearly portrays that certain religions are being smeared and tarnished at since religion plays no particular impact upon terrorism.

okay sorry theres more to come...
my extended projct has come of good use lol

Personally I believe that terrorism exists, but the secret families are behind every scene. Therefore no one should blame a religious group for one’s doing. An act of terrorism, the taking of innocent civilian lives, is prohibited by Islam, and whoever has done this needs to be brought to justice, whether he is a Muslim or not. I do not condemn the killing of innocent civilians but the tarnishing of religions is the cause of low-self esteem, differences, isolation and pain within certain individuals.

Asian people’s experience of being undervalued and discriminated against every day of their lives cannot be ignored. Inequality leads to discrimination, oppression and repression.

I understand that Closed Circuit television Camera (CCTV’s) can now be seen in most town centres, in numerous airports, train stations, car parks and on railway stations. It is claimed that they are an important weapon in the fight against crime. Recent research has shown, however that the people who operate the cameras are more likely to track a Muslim bearded man with a topi (hat) than a middle aged non-Muslim. This does not necessarily mean that the camera operators are actively racist. But they are acting according to a belief that young Muslim men are more likely to commit terrorism than a Non-Muslim. Is this true? How can we really say? Terrorism figures depend upon crimes seen and arrests made. If video cameras are busy tracking young Muslim men, then they may well catch some of them committing terrorism. But they miss the odd Non-Muslim men committing the acts of crimes like terrorism, homicide, assassinations or rape cases.

In my opinion, many people have criticized the police for ‘stop and search’ procedures, because Asian communities believe they are being unfairly targeted. This does not necessarily mean that the police are racist. They may be simply be responding to crime figures, which suggest that Asian men are more likely to carry explosive bombs or be involved in crimes like terrorism. But if more Asian men than Non-Muslims are actually breaking the law; how could this be when 71.6% of the population are Non Muslims? 15.5% of the population are Christians? 15.5% of the population have no religion? 1.0% of the population are Hindus? 0.6% of the population are Sikhs? 0.5% of the population are Jewish? 0.3% of the population are Buddhists?8

It is a secondary source portraying the statistics of Muslims and their connection with terrorism.

Yet only 2.7% of the populations are Muslims.9 Islam is the second largest religion in the world. Moreover, when an individual declares the shahadah, the declaration of faith “there is only one God and Muhammad is the final messenger” then he or she becomes a Muslim. This phrase shows harmony, in no way does it mean to inflict harmful acts on others or to be a terrorist. Terrorism is not in any way associated with Islam, in fact it contradicts the belief of Islam because “those who murder one it is as though he killed all of mankind.”

I understand Muslim extremists make up only a fraction of the Muslim world, yet they receive most of the attention because of the terror they cause. However, I believe that the attention we give to terrorism often seems unfair and unjust because we pinpoint the bad individuals and claim that the whole of their religion are terrorists. But what about the good individuals, do they not count for anything? Terrorism incidents usually make superb copies for journalists, but they kill and injure innocent individuals who are hurt due to the impact of propaganda and the media’s influences. Therefore terrorism hurts more individuals then it actually intends to. Where is the advantage in this?

You must be wondering is there anyone I should be looking out for specifically who meets the criteria of a terrorist? But I can’t help emphasizing the fact that it is their actions that give terrorists away, not their appearance. Remember that terrorism affects us all. No community or religion should be made a scapegoat for the actions of terrorists. We have a clear vision of a multi cultural Britain, one that values the contribution made by each of our many ethnic, cultural and faith communities so we should aim to keep it this way. Terrorists do not have a religion. Religion is following, not making own rules, and carrying them out by taking someone else’s life. Since there are things above the physical appearance which are their actions so no one should be marked as a terrorist according to their appearance or dress code.

ok i think everybody can tell im a a politics nerd lol
but your poems just open more and more knowledge in this case to be shared
