Premature Departure.

I wrote this back in 2006, found it again recently as certain events brought the feeling in prospective.

You were taken away so young yet so untainted,
Your picture of adult life yet barely painted.

The grim reality of life took its cause,
For the sanctity of life, there is no insurance clause,
We can be taken away at any passing time,
Yet we are so carried away in worldly commodities,
The realisation is bitter as lime.

You were taken away without at all knowing,
little did we know you would be going,
Gods mercy upon your young soul is surely showing.

You’re every memory, so tender, so complete,
Life without you, my heart begins to retreat.
I hope you are in places better than this world which is dark,
for your youthful complexion,
in heaven, your youthful vehicle of life shall park.

We will keep your memory like a piece of Gold which never corrodes,
Your young soul in much better abodes.

We have missed your presence so very sorely,
but your thought and memories we shall remember purely.
