Egotistical Disease

You've all heard it before, when the head wont fit through the door,
And when the ego struggles through more and more, the Imaan is shoved to the floor.

Human, Same religion, same race, same language, even same house,
How shameful is it when the ego topples brotherhood, and makes an elephant look like a mouse?

You're only temporary like me, have blood and bones like me,
yet you stand up when you fail to see, and comprehend your ego miserably.

Where did equality go? where did justice and fairness vanish? to where has brotherhood disappeared?
These two will quarrel and argue like no other when in their home countries their family is butchered and massacred and the worst is feared.

How will we help those in Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan?
When you are two busy trying to satisfy your head by telling yourself "you're the man".

A man is that who controls his fuse,looks after his family and pays his dues.

Not one who hurts, and takes pride in himself and looks down on others,
The road of unity is a blessed one, the thorned path of heightened ego does not make brothers.
